She added prices of some food commodities such as red chili pepper, cayenne pepper and red onion, which had soared a few months ago, are now stabilizing as supply from the region improves.

To stabilize commodity price, she continued, PD Pasar Jaya will impose Controlled Atmosphere Storage (CAS) thus can be more durable.

"It's hoped could fix food commodities distribution to maintain buffer stock," he stated.
